Website and API monitors
HTTP GET checks for websites and APIs — settings, success rules, and worker behavior.
Website / API monitors send an HTTP GET to the URL you provide. A check passes when the response status code is below 400.
Create a monitor
- Monitors → New monitor (route
/monitors/new). - Enter the full URL, including
https://. - Choose a check interval: 10 s, 30 s, 1 min, or 5 min (fastest interval depends on your plan).
- Optionally assign groups to organize the list.
- Set Notifications (default: No notifications).

What the worker does
- Timeout: 20 seconds
- Retries: 1 retry after 400 ms on transient errors
- Redirects: follows up to 5 (301, 302, 303, 307, 308)
- Network: IPv4 only
- Timings recorded: DNS, TCP, TLS, TTFB

Mute a monitor
From monitor actions, mute for 30 minutes, 1 hour, 24 hours, or until I unmute. Muted monitors skip checks and keep their last status.
